Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using Reliable. By using Reliable, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Reliable.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Reliable, you accept these Terms in full. We may update these Terms periodically. Your continued use of Reliable indicates your acceptance of any modifications.
2. Description of the Platform
Reliable is a marketplace that connects buyers with third-party sellers. We facilitate payment processing and coordinate shipping services through our trusted third-party partners and our own service, Fulfilments by Reliable (FBR). Important: Reliable is not a store. When you place an order, you enter into a transaction directly with the seller. Payment processing is handled via Paystack, with funds transferred to the seller.
3. Payment Processing and Order Handling
- Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely, and funds are transferred directly to the seller.
- Order Placement: When you place an order, you enter into a contract with the seller, not with Reliable.
- Refunds and Cancellations: Refunds, returns, or cancellations are matters to be resolved between you and the seller. Reliable is not responsible for processing refunds or handling cancellations.
- Order Issues: Any issues related to order delays, product quality, or disputes are to be addressed directly with the seller.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Shipping Coordination: We coordinate shipping through our third-party partners and FBR.
- Shipping Fees: Shipping fees are based on the distance between the pickup location and your delivery address. The applicable fee will be provided at checkout.
- Delivery: Shipping times and methods vary by seller and shipping option. Reliable is not responsible for order delays or shipping issues.
5. User Accounts and Responsibilities
- Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- Security: Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.
- Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
6. Third-Party Relationships
Reliable integrates with third-party services for payment processing, shipping, and other functions. We do not control these services and are not liable for their actions or policies. Please review any applicable third-party terms before use.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Reliable—including text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is owned by Reliable or its licensors. You may use this content only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Unauthorized use may infringe on our intellectual property rights.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- As-Is Basis: Reliable is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
- No Guarantees: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor do we guarantee the accuracy of product descriptions or shipping details.
- Order Issues: Reliable is not responsible for refunds, order delays, product quality, or disputes between you and the seller.
- Liability Cap: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed any fees you have paid, if applicable, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reliable, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of Reliable or your breach of these Terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in Nigeria, Tanzania, Egypt, Kenya, and Ethiopia, each within its respective jurisdiction. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Reliable will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the relevant jurisdiction.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When changes occur, we will update the “Effective Date” and notify you via Reliable if the changes are significant. Your continued use of Reliable signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
